L Bike and Sports AB with the brand  L carbon TECH solution has chosen to work with manufacturers who have long and extensive experience in the production of qualitative carbon products, then mainly in the bicycle industry. Manufacturers are located in Taiwan with production for both known and lesser known bicycle brands.

Our frames are manufactured together with Colnago, Stevens and Santa Cruz etc. Other components are in the same line as Ritchey, Scott and Bontrager.

“Since we are a small bike brand and deside to build 10-15 bikes per year, this means that we cannot have our own designed mold for our frames. What we have done instead is to find a unique frame with good precision and quality, where the rider feels his unique on the tracks

The company that colors our frames and other bike-related details is today certified with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in quality and environment.

E.P.S Technology
Today, all our frames are made of the material T700 from Toray. Frames are manufactured according to the E.P.S (Expandable Polystyrene System) to increase the stiffness and tolerance of the critical parts of the frames. E.P.S eliminates defects that are formed in critical areas during casting of the frame.
EPS (Expandable Polystyrene System)

When using a traditional technology for producing carbon frames, it is usually done in separate parts.
The production of the E.P.S process takes place instead in one piece, which makes them generally lighter, stronger with weight saving on the frame, seat post and handlebar improves its quality.
The manufacturing process increases the rigidity of the frame and also improves the safety when the total weight of the frame decreases.
The high compression in the manufacturing makes the frame more rigid, which makes it possible for the rider to have a greater control over the bike, and minimizes negative energy due to sideways lifting of the frame.

The E.P.S process optimizes the quality of the frame by eliminating unnecessary material when compressing the carbon fiber sheets. This process also eliminates small defects that usually occur in traditional production methods.

The E.P.S method means that the laminated carbon fiber layers are wrapped around a polystyrene mold with perfectly smooth surfaces. The polystyrene mold is placed in a mold that is then exposed to heat and high air pressure during controlled production process. This process optimizes the thickness of the carbon fiber material throughout the frame.

The polystyrene form is then removed when the production process is completed.
